Mini Digital Cameras
You may have a digital camera like I do. Mine works very well, and it is one that I would never trade for another. However, it does have its drawbacks. The biggest problem I have with it is the size. It is very large and somewhat bulky, though I can fit it in my purse. Even in my purse though, it can be quite cumbersome, and there are times when I have wanted to take it with me but then opted to leave it home because of the size. This is when I decided I might like to get a mini digital camera so that I don’t have to take the large one with me when I want to take a few quick pictures.
Mini digital cameras are often small enough so that you can take them anywhere without much problem. That can be great when you fear you are going to have problems with a larger size, but you know photo ops are going to be everywhere you look. These are often so small that they can go in any pocket, or you can have them hanging from your keychain. There are many different brands and sizes, so don’t be afraid to look around for the one that suits you best.
What you should know about the mini digital camera is that you won’t have the same picture quality that you would have with your larger sized digital. You won’t be able to fit nearly as many pictures on it, though you might be surprised at how many some of them can hold. You probably won’t have much in the way of zoom, and you won’t have any fancy settings, but the mini digital camera will work well for snapshots of things that you might not normally be prepared for while you are out and about.
You may already have a mini digital camera on your cell phone, though those will not work quite as well as other minis. They do work in a pinch, however, and that means you will always have a workable camera with you if you have chosen to have one with your cell. Otherwise, you can usually find some good mini digital cameras where you find other cameras, and probably many are available to you online if you like to shop over the Internet. The quality of such photos might not be what you are used to, but they are going to be far better than having no camera at all.

Mini digital cameras are included with most cell phones these days. You can purchase minis by themselves for a backup in the event the cell phone batteries die. Most mini cameras don't hold as many pictures as a regular digital camera, but they are very handy to have around.
