Life Without Computers

I can't imagine me coming home and not being able to check my bank balance on line. What in the world would I do if I had to send letters to all my buddies and pals and if I were unable to use the internet to search for mostly everything I needed?

Computers have spoiled us rotten to the bone! Why I am too lazy to get up and push a button to turn the TV channel. I will pass by that button over and over again while

looking for the remote control. And check this If I had to remember more than five phone numbers I would sincerely be out there Duh. My phone numbers has been programmed in my phone for the last ten years. I got it so bad that I have to set reminders on my phone so I won't forget important events. But isn't it great that we can do this now?

I certainly think that I would absolutely loose it if I had to go back to the old way of doing things like going up to the television and turning it on, off and change the channels manually.

Without computers we can't get cash fast when we need it. Computers allow us to save much money on gas by obtaining almost everything we need on the internet. Can you imagine driving around trying to find a particular place or business without Map Quest? Well I sure can't. I have gone to cities or towns that I know nothing about and have found my way by using internet resources.

What would going to college be without computer technology? How about when you are trying to book flights to a certain destination? It would really be stressful to have to call all the different airlines. Computers have enabled some physically handicapped people to be more independent. I have a friend that has one of his legs amputated but that doesn't stop him from shopping on the internet and getting just about everything he needs.

We have become a lazy generation due to the vast changes in technology and sometimes it is convenient but sometimes it can put in a bad position. There are clocks that automatically set itself to the correct time when it is plugged in. Some clocks adjust automatically when time changes up or down. Is it true that there is a drivable car with a steering wheel?

Dependency upon computers and technology is the way of life for most of us. And I must say that I definitely would not like living without the technology that we have grown to depend on. I don't want to think of what would happen if there was a major crash in all computer systems all over the world.
