Have Fun With Murder Mystery Parties
No one likes a good party more than I do, which is why I try to have a bunch of friends over to my house at least twice a month for food, drinks, and fun. My get-togethers are always a big hit with everyone because I do my best to make each one different. For example, I'll have different themes or bring in new games to play so we don't just sit round doing the exact same things every time.
Right now, I'm trying to organize a murder mystery party for my next event. Thanks to popular television shows like CSI and Criminal Minds, there's more interest in mysteries and detective work than ever before, so I think hosting my own whodunit would be an absolute blast. Murder mystery parties aren't a new fad. They've been around for a long time, and are usually offered as part of a dinner theater package. My brother actually took me to one for my birthday a few years ago. It was a lot of fun, but from what I understand, the tickets were quite expensive. I wouldn't feel right asking all of my friends to go to a murder mystery party like that, so that's why I'm taking the do-it-yourself route.

There are several different kits to choose from, so I can pick out the story that sounds most interesting given my friends' tastes. Then, if we end up enjoying the game as much as I think we will, I can always go back and order more kits for future gatherings -- especially since the kits are surprisingly affordable.
I'm really excited about the prospect of hosting one of these murder mystery parties for the very first time. I have a feeling that it's going to be a big success and that my friends will end up clamoring for more!
